The "African Internet and Telecom Summit" will take place at the Kairaba Beach Hotel in Banjul. Rooms are available for participants. Please find below further information for the Kairaba Beach Hotel as well as the Tafbel Maisonnettes Hotel which is also available for Summit participants.

The Kairaba Hotel is situated 20 km from the Yundum International airport and 8 km from the city centre.

1990 bungalow resort, surrounded by tropical gardens on Kotu beach. Rooms with air conditioning, bath/shower, TV, minibar, balcony. Twenty-three suites with kitchenette/dining area, 24 hour room service, laundry facilities.

Location:
Within 5 minutes walk of the Tafbel Maisonettes, there are restaurants of various ethnic foods, bars, night clubs and the casino, there are foreign exchange bureaux, banks and supermarkets. The lively crafts market offers wood carvings, batik and other souvenirs. For those interested in sports, the neighbourhood offers a sports centre with facilities for tennis, basketball, squash, and volleyball. Rental facilities may be found nearby too.

Just behind Tafbel Maisonettes lies the Bijilo Bird sanctuary, where you can go for a nature walk with over 450 different species in The Gambia.
