Coordination procedures

Types of coordination
  • Coordination under the provision of No. 9.21 (when station operates in the bands mentioned in a footnote to the Table of Frequency Allocations making reference to the provision of No 9.21)
  • Coordination of terrestrial stations operating in the bands shared with space services:
    • Coordination of terrestrial stations vis--vis receiving earth stations in the bands above 100 MHz shared with equal rights between terrestrial and space service and allocated to space services in space to Earth direction of transmission if the terrestrial station is located in the coordination area of an earth station (Nos. 9.16, 9.18);
    • Coordination of transmitting terrestrial station vis--vis typical earth station included in the service area of a space station in the broadcasting-satellite service in the bands shared with equal rights between terrestrial and broadcasting-satellite service (No.9.19).
  • Coordination of stations of non-planned terrestrial services operating in the bands and geographical areas covered by different Regional Agreements (e.g. GE85M, GE85N) vis--vis terrestrial stations of planned services
  • Other types of coordination such as coordination between Administrations in border areas
