By agreement between ITU and SMPTE, Participants in the work of Study Group 6 are given access to SMPTE Documents through electronic document exchange via the Internet. Accordingly, if a document is available on the Internet, the ITU-R provides its hyperlink. In order to make SMPTE Documents available via the Internet, this FTP area was established by the ITU-R Secretariat to enable free downloads of SMPTE Documents licensed to the ITU. The ITU-R allows restricted access to the FTP area only through the TIES account of Study Group 6 Participants. The users of this FTP area are given access ONLY to participate in the work of SG 6.
Therefore, any unauthorized use or misuse of these documents is STRICLY PROHIBITED by the ITU. In case of abuse of access privileges by any Participant or user, the ITU reserves the right to take any appropriate action, including, but not limited to, the immediate termination of such privileges without prior notice. |
