WRC-19 revised several provisions in Appendix
4 of the Radio Regulations. All revisions on Appendix
4 entered into force on 23 November 2019.
In order to accommodate the above mentioned revisions, the Radiocommunication Bureau is pleased to inform that SNS 9.1 and BRSoft 9.1 are now available (see circular letter CR/493).
- Submission of service area information
Please note that from SNS 9.1 onwards, all service area information (item C.11.a of Annex 2 to
Appendix 4) for coordination and notification notices shall be submitted in GIMs format (see User guide for submission of service area in Gims )
Only for
notices concerning advance publication, the service area information can still be captured using
Spacecap.
- The use of the bands 17.7-19.7 GHz and 27.5-29.5 GHz by ESIMs for
Notification of geostationary satellite networks
