The 2009 Global Symposium for Regulators Consultation process focused on
identifying innovative regulatory approaches in a converged world to
strengthen the foundation of a global Information Society.
After considering the individual country responses to the
consultation process and as with previous years, regulators have identified and put forward best
practice guidelines.
The consultation was coordinated by
Dr. Kamal Shehadi, Chairman and CEO of the Telecommunication
Regulatory Authority of Lebanon (TRA).
These guidelines were presented and finalized during the GSR.
