IMPACT also provides world-class cyber-training throughout 2009 in the form of specialised seminars, workshops etc. To deliver these, IMPACT is collaborating with ITU and other globally-renowned partners, including the SANS Institute, Honeynet Project and others. This training supports ITU’s objective of capacity building as outlined by GCA Work Area 4. ITU Member States benefits from the comprehensive training facilities at IMPACT’s Global HQ in Cyberjaya. These include specialised training rooms, an auditorium, always-on (24x7x365) Security Operations Centre, labs, accommodation facilities for visiting trainers and experts, a fully-equipped data centre and other modern facilities needed to support high-tech, specialised training programs. IMPACT’s Centre for Training & Skills Development plays a key role in realising ITU GCA’s goal of capacity-building among Member States.
