This interactive and inspiring session will look at the crucial ways in which national digital development strategies can contribute to the success of the WSIS process and the achievement of the SDGs, it will also discuss some truly innovative work the Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation (CTO) is doing on Digital Transformation.

This session will look at how digital development strategies can leverage the WSIS Action Lines, in particular Lines 1, 4, 6 and 11,  to do more to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Using work in the UK and Kenya, as examples, we will explore how we can do more both collectively and individually to meet Action Lines C1, C4, C6 and C11.  If time we will also discuss how by doing such work we can help achieve the SDGs.
