Partie de haut niveau
Le Forum du SMSI sera une tribune de premier plan pour débattre du rôle des TIC en tant qu'outils de mise en oeuvre des Objectifs et cibles de développement durable, compte dûment tenu du mécanisme global de suivi et d'examen de la mise en oeuvre du Programme de développement durable à l'horizon 2030 ((UNGA Resolution A/70/1).
Lors du Forum 2019 du SMSI, des sessions de haut niveau de la partie de haut niveau auront lieu les 9 et 10 avril. Les sessions seront modérées par des modérateurs de la partie de haut niveau désignés et identifiés par chaque type de partie prenante, à savoir le secteur privé, la société civile, la communauté technique/académique et les organisations internationales. La principale tâche du modérateur de la partie de haut niveau consiste à cerner la vision des leaders de sa session, ainsi qu'à identifier les tendances émergentes, les opportunités et les difficultés qu'ils évoquent.
La session de clôture de la partie de haut niveau aura lieu le 10 avril. Elle sera l'occasion pour le Président du Forum 2019 du SMSI de présenter un résumé analytique et permettra à tous les modérateurs de la partie de haut niveau de communiquer les résultats de leur session respective. Une publication intitulée ''Forum 2019 du SMSI: Déclarations de politique générale – Synthèse'' sera éditée pour faire la synthèse de ces résultats.
