Girls in ICT Day helps celebrate and promote girls to take up careers in ICT. Plan International, a child rights organisation that is striving for equality for girls, is bringing together women working in ICT as to talk about their experiences and how we can encourage more girls to take up a career in ICT.  

Our guest speakers include:

• Sally-Ann Williams is the Engineering Community and Outreach Program Manager at Google Australia
• Ally Watson is the Co-Founder of Code Like A Girl
• Rochana Attale is the IoT and Connected Platforms Lead for Accenture Australia
• Sophie Shugg is a Child Protection Advisor at Plan International and in her spare time she has a start-up tech business DEEP
• Ginette Vilasmil is one of Plan  Internationals amazing Youth Ambassadors for Plan International Australia and took part in our workshop to help develop the Sydney version of Free To Be
