Promoting the Development of Smart Sustainable Cities & Communities Telecom Infrastructure in Egypt

ITU and the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt signed a partnership agreement to accelerate the urban transformation towards Smart Sustainable Cities & Communities (SSC&C), while considering the aspects of smartness and sustainability based on ITU technical standards or recommendations for SSC&C in order to ultimately contribute to the achievements of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Egypt 2030 Vision, Egypt Sustainable Development Strategy, as well as the New Urban Agenda in the Arab Region.
