Arrangements for Media coverage of Round Tables
Two WSIS Round Tables on the theme “From Commitment to Action: Implementation
after Tunis” will be held 17 November in parallel with the plenary meetings.
The first session will be held from 11h00 to 13h00, and the second session
will be held from 15h00 to 17h00. Both Round Tables will be held in the Round
Table Hall. Media Pools will be available for a brief “shot” opportunity
before the start of discussions. The Pools will form in the Media Centre at
10h30 for Round Table-1 and at 14h30 for Round Table-2. WSIS Media Liaison
Officers will escort media to the Round Table Hall. The Round Table
discussions will be filmed by Television and webcast. Photos will also be
available from the website to all accredited media

Global Pledge to Connect the World Event
The high profile Connect the World event on “Connecting the
Unconnected by 2015” will be held on 16 November 2005 from 16h00 to 18h00 at the
Round Table Hall. Media Pools will be available for a brief photo opportunity
before the start of the discussions. The Pools will form in the Media Centre
at 15h30 and will be escorted by WSIS Media Liaison Officers to the Round Table
Hall. Official photos, including a group photograph, will also be available
from the website to all accredited media here. Sign-up for Media

Advance sign-up for Media Pools is strongly recommended to ensure a place.
Depending on the demand, national media may be limited and priority will be
given to the crew and photographer that will have been designated as “official
crew” and “official photographer”. A form to sign-up is available
here. Please complete the form online, print it
and fax it to +41 22 730 6927. Confirmation of receipt will be sent by email but
the exact pool composition will be confirmed on site. Please contact the Media
Pools Coordinator at the Media Centre for more details. The Plenary Sessions
