The Geneva phase of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) is due to start less than two months after the close of TELECOM World 2003.  This session brought together representatives from governments, inter-governmental organizations, civil society, the private sector and the media to open the debate on the likely outcomes for the first phase of the WSIS.
