In order to strengthen global multi-stakeholder cooperation on the Internet Governance, Japan supports the creation of a Forum for dialogue.
 

The Forum will address multidimensional public policy issues, through the exchange and sharing of information, work with existing institutions or organizations and not try to deal with issues already dealt by elsewhere, and not perform oversight tasks. As this forum, we could be associate with the proposal by distinguished delegations from UK and Canada.
 

As for so called new model, we should continue to discuss in the Forum together with other various important issues emerging with the development of Internet and our Information Society.
 

However, such consideration should be made based on the current structure in an evolutionary manner.
