ITU Headquarters, Room H. H. This meeting was open to all WSIS
stakeholders.
ITU organized the fourth facilitation meeting on
action line C6 on 19 May 2009 in Geneva at:
ITU Headquarters, Room B1. This meeting was open to all WSIS
stakeholders.
This meeting was held in conjunction with a cluster of WSIS-related events
(18-22 May 2000) following the World Telecommunication and

Third Facilitation Meeting, Geneva, 19-21 May 2008
ITU and UNDP will hold the joint facilitation meeting on
action lines C2, C4, and C6, on 19-21 May 2008 in Geneva at:
ITU Headquarters, Rooms K1 and K2. This meeting is open to all WSIS
stakeholders.
This meeting will
be held in conjunction with a cluster of WSIS-related events
(13-23 May 2008) surrounding World Telecommunication and
Information Society Day (17 May). More information about the

Second Facilitation Meeting, Geneva, 16 May 2007
ITU and UNDP held the joint facilitation meeting on
action lines C2, C4, and C6, on 16 May 2007 in Geneva at: ITU Headquarters, Rooms K1
and K2,
from 9h00 to 15h00. This meeting was open to all WSIS
stakeholders.
The focus of this
joint meeting was on encouraging discussion on promising
approaches and key issues that need to be addressed to
facilitate implementation.
This meeting was held in conjunction with a cluster of WSIS-related events
(14-25 May 2007) surrounding World Telecommunication and
Information Society Day (17 May). More information about the

First Facilitation Meetings, Geneva, 11 May 2006
In line with paragraph 108 and the Annex of the
Tunis
Agenda for the Information Society, UNDP, in its capacity of
provisional moderator/facilitator, organized the first
facilitation meetings on Action Lines 4 and 6, on May 11th
May 2006 as follows:
Action line C4, Capacity Building: ITU,
Montbrillant building, Room K2, 10h00 - 13h00. This meeting
was open to all WSIS stakeholders (Governments and International
Organizations, as well as civil society and business entities
active in the WSIS-process).
Action line C6, Enabling Environment: ITU,
Montbrillant building,Room K2, 15h00 - 18h00. This
meeting was open to all WSIS stakeholders (Governments and
International Organizations, as well as civil society and
business entities active in the WSIS-process).
The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss ways to
enhance collaboration and information sharing among diverse
stakeholders to contribute to effective multi-stakeholder
implementation and tried to identify priority areas for enhanced
focus and to explore ideas on how the action line teams might
organize their work.
