Problem Addressed Millions of people suffer from physical disabilities such as paraplegia
or hand impairments, making it difficult or impossible to interact with
digital systems that rely on hand input. As of 2025, the prevalence of
hand disability, particularly related to pain and functional limitations,
is around 13.6% [1]. Above 650 million people worldwide live with
disabilities, including those who struggle to use computers, access the
internet, or control software due to the absence of functional hands.
Existing systems lack intuitive, hands-free interaction methods. We
can address this urgent problem by developing an “Intelligent and
Automatic System Interface Control System for Users with Disabili-
ties”, which enables hand-disabled individuals to use computers and
digital devices without relying on a mouse or touch input, improving
accessibility, independence, and digital inclusion.
