AI for Good Innovate for Impact 4.4-Productivity
The architecture diagrams illustrate our vision for integrated assistive technology (see below
in references):
1) HIL (HID Interface Layer): Handles input methods (eye tracking, microphone, camera,
switches, keyboard/mouse)
2) UIIL (User Interface Interaction Layer): Provides user interfaces (Communication UI, Drive
UI, Home Automation UI, Text-to-Voice/Avatar, AI Response Engine)
3) Specialized Layers: Handle specific functions (Mobility Enhancement, Voice and Avatar
Layer, Home Automation)
Rather than building everything from scratch, we're creating an open ecosystem where
technologies can "plug and play," freeing users from proprietary all-in-one solutions.
