AI for Good Innovate for Impact

Strategically, we will seek partnerships with global telecom operators, standards bodies,
and open-source communities to ensure interoperability and scalability of the platform. This
collaborative approach will help align the solution with evolving telco standards and promote
               broader industry adoption. 4.3 - 5G

Lastly, a longitudinal study will be initiated to evaluate the long-term environmental and
operational benefits, quantifying the CO₂ reductions and cost savings achieved. This evidence
base will support the business case for full-scale rollouts and help shape the next generation
               of sustainable telco infrastructure.

               3 Use Case Requirements

               • REQ-01: It is critical that the system can model a live telecommunications network within
a virtualized environment to enable real-time analysis and simulation.
               • REQ-02: It is expected that the platform ingests real-time operational and performance
data to ensure accurate monitoring and adaptive response.
               • REQ-03: It is critical that artificial intelligence (AI) models are implemented to predict
traffic loads, detect anomalies, and identify patterns in energy usage across the network.
               • REQ-04: It is expected that the system includes mechanisms to simulate multiple network
configurations to assess their performance and energy efficiency under varying conditions.
               • REQ-05: It is critical that the system provides actionable recommendations for optimizing
energy consumption based on simulation outcomes and predictive insights.
               • REQ-06: It is of added value that the platform features a user interface for visualizing
the live network state, AI-driven predictions, and system suggestions in an interpretable
                    format.
               • REQ-07: It is expected that the solution supports deployment in both real-world and
simulated telecom environments to ensure flexibility in testing and integration.
               • REQ-08: It is critical that a closed-loop automation framework is implemented to enable
seamless updates to network configurations based on inference results.
               • REQ-09: It is expected that the system incorporates secure and interpretable feedback
loops to validate AI inferences and support ongoing model refinement.
