2 Use Case Description
21 Description
Clinical trials often suffer from inefficiencies due to manual processes and fragmented CRO
selection. MEDIAIPLUS addresses this by offering AI-based solutions to automate trial design and
optimize CRO matching, reducing delays and improving outcomes. Its two key engines (MediC
and FiCRO) provide advanced inferences such as protocol recommendations, recruitment
analysis, and CRO suggestions. These capabilities support real-time decision-making across
feasibility analysis, sponsor–CRO matching, and trend identification. As a result, the platform
helps shorten planning cycles, lower costs, and improve trial alignment and success rates.
Use Case Status: Pilot deployments are currently underway with multiple biotech and medical
device companies. Blisstech serves as a key validation partner under the AX Project, while
discussions with other international CROs and sponsors are ongoing.
Partners: Biotech, pharmaceutical company, medical device company, CROs
22 Benefits of use case
By accelerating clinical trial design and reducing costs, MEDIAIPLUS improves timely
access to innovative treatments and supports R&D efficiency in therapeutics. nearly-stage
deployments, MEDIAIPLUS improved clinical trial preparation by standardizing protocol
design through MediC and automating CRO matching with FiCRO. These combined efforts
increased overall trial success rates by 25%, and reduced the time required to collect and
align clinical trial data by 85%—directly supporting faster patient access to critical therapies.
MEDIAIPLUS enhances biotech R&D capacity by integrating AI into both protocol design
and CRO operations.Through its scalable AI platforms—MediC for trial protocol structuring
and FiCRO for CRO matching—the company has enabled automation in clinical planning
workflows. This innovation has resulted in a 10% reduction in trial outsourcing costs by matching
sponsors with CROs that best align with their therapeutic and regional needs, strengthening
the technological infrastructure of trial preparation.
MEDIAIPLUS fosters cross-border collaboration in clinical innovation by connecting
trial sponsors, CROs, and research institutions through a unified AI-driven ecosystem.
The platform serves as a technical enabler for interoperable workflows, data integration, and
decision support across regions. Ongoing engagements with biotech startups and research
hubs in Korea and Southeast Asia highlight its role in scaling AI applications for clinical research
in both emerging and developed markets.
23 Future Work
We are advancing our platform with key enhancements focused on automation, precision, and
integration. A major initiative includes leveraging large language models (LLMs) to automate
protocol generation, streamlining trial design and reducing manual effort. The CRO scoring
system will also be upgraded with predictive models for more accurate, data-driven evaluations.
To support these developments, FiCRO requires access to broader clinical trial datasets,
scalable cloud infrastructure, and improved AI explainability tools to ensure transparency and
user trust. Expansion efforts include forming partnerships with global CRO networks, AI research
labs, and regulatory agencies. These collaborations will enable international deployment and
