Résumé :

This document is the proposed updated draft Recommendation on ITU-T L.ESS-adapt "Management system architecture for container-type ESS to support environment-adaptive operation" based on the SG5-TD1202 at previous ITU-T SG5 meeting (Sophia Antipolis, 9-18 June 2026). This contribution includes the following main proposals:
1) Clause 6 is revised to clarify the consideration of environmental conditions, to add safety and protection devices (e.g. RCDs and IMDs) to the container-type ESS architecture and Figure 2, and to clarify the role of adaptive control.
2) Clause 7 is revised to clarify the requirements for communication error handling, emergency operation, safety priority, and the allocation between remote supervisory control and on-site control execution.
3) Clause 8 is newly added to define the reference architecture of the management system, including on-site management functions, remote management functions and remote management services (Figure 3).
