This document contains a discussion paper about the energy efficiency assessment of Fixed Wireless Access in operational mobile networks.
This is intended to initiate a structured discussion on whether additional FWA-related energy-efficiency indicators would improve the operational usefulness of ES 203 228 and Recommendation ITU-T L.1331.
The purpose is to initiate the work towards a consensus on the documentation of this topic within the TR and supplement of the work item about "Practical examples of the determination of energy consumption, efficiency and CO2 emissions of mobile networks in the context of ETSI ES 203 228" and L.1331.
