Résumé :

This contribution proposes the study and new work item for the drafting of new Recommendation ITU-T L.MM_EE - "Energy Efficiency Assessment and Optimization of Multimodal Generative AI System". The main goal of this Recommendation is to provide standardized methodologies for the assessment and optimization of the energy efficiency of Multimodal Generative AI systems. This work item is planned to be discussed at the SG5 plenary meeting in October 2026.
