ICTs are an essential driver for accelerating sustainable development in Guinea.
They contribute to improving health, education, the economy and governance.
Guinea has embarked on several initiatives, including the development of optical fibre and the digitalization of public services.
The expansion of mobile money also promotes financial inclusion, particularly in rural areas.
However, the digital divide, the high cost of the Internet, lack of skills and interoperability limitations remain challenges.
