Résumé :

GARI (Global Accessibility Reporting Initiative) is a free, publicly available tool that helps consumers find the right device for their needs. Whether someone uses a hearing aid, has low vision, or needs simplified navigation, GARI lets them search and compare accessibility features across mobile phones, tablets, wearables and smart TVs. As regulatory frameworks evolve to require not only accessible products but also accessible information about those products, GARI finds itself at the intersection of accessibility and consumer information. This submission updates ITU members on recent GARI developments and highlights how the database can be embedded in retail, procurement and consumer guidance systems to give people better information when choosing devices.
