Abstracto :

This contribution proposes the establishment of a new ITU-T Recommendation, L.BSI, "Framework for backup-storage integrated equipment at telecommunication base station". The Recommendation defines a harmonised, equipment-level functional framework for backup-storage integrated (BSI) equipment at base station sites, covering overall functional architecture, functional requirements and operation mechanisms, safety and protection functions, performance requirements and acceptance criteria, testing and conformity, and use cases and deployment references. The framework is complementary to ITU-T L.1384 and ITU-T L.1210, bridges the gap between network-level aggregation and battery product-level specifications, and remains technology-neutral with respect to battery chemistry and site power supply topology.
