Abstracto :

This contribution proposes a revision of Recommendation ITU-T K.121 and a change of title to "Guidance on environmental management, RF-EMF compliance and public communication for radiocommunication base stations". The revision updates guidance on RF-EMF assessment and compliance management during planning, deployment, operation and modification, taking account of new and emerging radiocommunication technologies, shared sites and coordination with municipal and environmental authorities. It emphasises reliable exposure data, verification against applicable RF-EMF limits and clear, factual communication to address public concerns.
