Abstracto :

This contribution proposes updates to the draft Guidelines on identifier resolution and service discovery for Building Infrastructure Management Systems (BIMS). The proposed text clarifies the distinction between equipment identification and identifier resolution and describes how DNS-based resolution and service discovery can support interoperability and information exchange between heterogeneous building equipment and management systems, with particular consideration of smart energy management in sustainable buildings.
