Abstracto :

Acknowledging the growing significance of cybersecurity the Republic of Bulgaria hosted on 26-29 November 2024, for the fifth consecutive time, a Cyber Forum for the countries of the European Region organized by BDT. This edition was organised together with the countries of the Mediterranean under the theme "ITU Cybersecurity Forum and CyberDrill for Europe and Mediterranean". The event was organised under the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe on trust and confidence in the use of telecommunications/ICTs, as agreed upon by the WTDC-22.
A dedicated discussion within the Forum among a number of cyber experts took part, exchanging knowledge and views on the potential scope of topics to be included in the ITU-D Action Plan as well as the Regional Initiatives for Europe for the next four-year period from 2026-2030 in the area of cybersecurity capacity building.
