Abstract :

This document contains the latest draft Recommendation ITU-T L.GDSR, Guidelines for Data Sanitization and Resource Recovery of Decommissioned Storage Devices. This version is based on the revised draft produced by the ITU-T Q7/5 e-meeting in August 2026. Only the technical vocabulary and wording in sections 9 to 13 have been revised, and some grammatical issues have also been corrected.
