Abstract :

In accordance with the ITU Plenipotentiary Resolution 146 (Rev. Bucharest, 2022) and Council Resolution 1379 (Mod. 2023), the Expert Group on the International Telecommunication Regulations (EG-ITRs), open to all Member States and Sector Members, was reconvened in 2023 to, inter alia, review the ITRs and submit a report on the outcome of the review to the Council for consideration, publication and subsequent submission to the 2026 plenipotentiary conference with the Council's comments.
The Council noted the report contained in Document C26/26 and agreed to transmit it to PP-26, together with the summary record of the meeting. The extract of the summary record of the ninth Plenary meeting of the 2026 session of the Council is attached to this report as Annex 2.
