Abstract :

Efficient cybersecurity in the telecommunications sector requires a comprehensive approach combining technological and human measures. Key priorities should include securing supply chains, automating the gathering of information on cyberthreats, and establishing sector-specific security operations centres (SOCs). It is equally important to provide all employees of telecommunications companies with continuous, mandatory and tailored cybersecurity training. Ultimately, strong cyber resilience depends on sustained, multi-stakeholder cooperation among regulators, telecommunications companies, cybersecurity providers and IT vendors.
