This contribution considers the potential of artificial intelligence, satellite data and telecommunication networks to support the prevention, surveillance and management of health risks in the two Congos. It presents several examples of the use of these technologies for the identification of at-risk areas, epidemiological surveillance, emergency communication and stakeholder coordination. It also highlights the importance of taking into account data protection, proportionality and human oversight in their use. On this basis, the contribution proposes elements for consideration in the context of the work under Questions 3/1 and 5/2.
