Abstract :

Chad has embarked on an ambitious transformation of its health system through the development of digital health, led by the National Digital Health Programme, which comes under the Ministry of Public Health and Prevention. This contribution presents an integrated approach for the implementation of an interoperable national electronic patient record (EPR), based on a modular architecture, international standards, and strengthened data governance
It highlights the progress already achieved and persistent challenges, and proposes strategic recommendations to accelerate an inclusive and resilient transformation aligned with the priorities of the International Telecommunication Union - Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D).
