Abstract :

This study Question was approved by the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 and is the result of the previous study Questions 6/2 (ICTs for the environment) and 7/2 (Strategies and policies concerning human exposure to electromagnetic fields). It focuses on several topics, including on strategies to develop a responsible approach to, and comprehensive treatment of, telecommunication/ICT waste.
This document shares information on the activities undertaken by the BDT in the area of ICTs for e waste. Meeting participants are invited to consider this information.
