Abstract :

This contribution updates TDAG on the progress made by Pacific Member States to address the telecommunications/ICT development needs of the region. This includes the Pacific Island Forum (PIF) Leaders' endorsement of the Lagatoi Declaration on Digital Transformation of the Pacific and The Digital Transformation Action Plan 2024-2030, establishment of the governance structure to advance regional telecommunication priorities, and the robust assessment of options to strengthen ITU's regional presence in the Pacific.
