Abstract :

The document highlights the importance and necessity of continuing the work to align the ITU-D Resolutions with the Resolutions of the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP). A number of Resolutions of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) are directly based on the corresponding PP Resolutions, while the PP Resolutions do not include a number of provisions that reflect the specific ITU-D interests and tasks. This contribution proposes the following approach - to modify the corresponding PP Resolution by including sectoral issues in it to reflect the corresponding Sector Resolutions.
