Abstract :

Summary
In accordance with UN General Assembly Resolution 67/40, the mandatory age of retirement for staff recruited after 1 January 2014 became 65. Last year, the UN General Assembly, in its resolution 70/244, decided to apply this raise in the mandatory age of separation to staff recruited before 1 January 2014, with an implementation date of 1 January 2018, at the latest.
