This document is a follow-up to the discussions that took place at the 2015 session of the Council on the possible role of ITU as Supervisory Authority of the International Registration System for Space Assets under the Space Protocol, and presents a status report on the fourth session of the Preparatory Commission held in Rome, Italy on 9 - 11 December 2015.
