Résumé :

This report introduces the development and practice of digital twin cities in China. Digital twin cities map the physical space of a city to the digital space through digital means, solving urban problems and achieving synchronized operation between the virtual and the physical. The core elements of digital twin cities are based on a "4+5" framework, with the vision of making urban production, living, and ecology more efficient, liveable, and sustainable.
Since its inception in China in 2017, the construction of digital twin cities has gone through four stages, from "visibility" to "predictability and controllability." The industry scale has grown rapidly, with a wide range of application scenarios emerging. Xiongan New Area, as a typical example, has pioneered a BIM management platform to achieve full - life - cycle digital supervision. It is hoped that this report can provide a new and viable path for the intelligent and sustainable development of cities.
