Abstract :

This contribution proposes an interim deliverable on the challenges and opportunities of mobile internet, to be developed under Questions 1/1, 3/1, 4/1, and 5/1. Noting the interconnected challenges associated with achieving universal, meaningful connectivity, this interim deliverable would collect case studies and best practices from Member States and Sector Members with the aim of providing ITU Member States with actionable strategies that make use of mobile broadband to accelerate progress towards national development goals and advance efforts to achieve universal meaningful connectivity. This contribution also outlines suggested themes that this report might explore, including network investment, technological integration, mobile internet adoption, and national resilience.
