Abstracto :

Resolution 59 of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) aims to stream-line the work of ITU sectors regarding the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU D) to delineate areas of responsibility in studies on issues of mutual interest. Resolution 59 was previ-ously revised at WTDC-22, which was held in Kigali, Rwanda, but a significant increase in topics of common interest to all three ITU sectors, as well as the amount of work of the Inter-Sector Coordi-nation Group (ISCG) on issues of mutual interest, determines the need to revise this document. An additional objective to revise this Resolution is to streamline the provisions of WTDC Resolution 59 and similar Resolutions of the other ITU sectors and the Plenipotentiary Conference.
