Abstracto :

Resolution 58 of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) defines the work of the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) regarding telecommunication/ICT ac-cessibility for persons with disabilities and persons with specific needs. Resolution 58 was previ-ously revised at WTDC-22, which was held in Kigali, Rwanda, but significant progress in the studies carried out by Question 7/1 of ITU-D Study Group 1 determines the need to revise this document. An additional task of this revision is to streamline the WTDC Resolution 58, similar Resolutions of other ITU sectors and the Plenipotentiary Conference.
