Abstract :	This document provides information on Romania's experience in improving the operation of the single emergency number 112, in the context of the new electronic communication technologies. With the phased shutdown of 3G and 2G networks, complementary to the development of 4G and 5G networks using IP technology for data transmission, Romania revised the regulations for the Single National System for Emergency Calls (SNUAU).
