Abstracto :

WTDC Resolution 55 and PP Resolution 70 have significant overlap in provisions related to gender mainstreaming in the field of telecommunications/ICT, as reflected in Annex 1. As a solution to this problem, it is proposed to suppress WTDC Resolution 55 and integrate a number of provisions into a similar PP Resolution 70 by applying Provision 1 of Article 21 of the ITU Convention on Recommendations sent by One Conference to Another, which will eliminate duplication and increase the efficiency of the ITU.
