Abstracto :

This report summarizes the 2024 work of the EGTI-EGH subgroup on the ICT Development Index (IDI), focused on reviewing its conceptual framework and identifying candidate indicators for future revisions. The subgroup reaffirmed universal and meaningful connectivity as the foundation for the IDI, discussed key themes including affordability, broadband, devices, skills, and cybersecurity, and proposed a framework to evaluate candidate indicators. It recommends continuing the subgroup's mandate and adopting the candidate indicator approach for future IDI development.
