            7.4     Daegu performance and considerations: Society and Culture dimension


                                                            The KPIs within this dimension focus on the
                                                            themes of openness, public participation and
                                                            transparency in governance. KPIs that measure
                                                            the quality of life of inhabitants and the extent
                                                            of ICT implementation in the education, health
                                                            and safety sectors are also included.


                                                            As reviewed in the preceding sections, Daegu
                                                            has made significant progress in implementing
                                                            smart, sustainable city projects and is executing
                                                            its overall vision.



            These projects lay the basis for the development of electronic services for health, welfare and
            education that meet the needs of inhabitants.
