No distinction was made between imports made by trading companies and those made
directly by consumers (e.g., households, corporate users) since INDEC statistics do not make a
distinction between them, nor was primary information produced at the consumer level. In this
regard, the results of the study may overestimate the quantities of EEE that reach wholesalers
and retailers.
The study did not get information from the groups of players listed in Table 6, which is reflected
in many flows for which no information is available or no studies have been carried out; they
are shown in red in the Figure 11 baseline system.

Finally, quantitative information was obtained from the surveys of managers on the amounts
of coarse (parts) and fine (materials) fractions of the WEEE processed at the end of the WEEE
chain or management, as well as qualitative information on their main destinations. As indicated
above, the information gathered is not representative of the situation in Argentina but makes
it possible characterizing the last step in WEEE management.
