Rationale / The indicator demonstrates the presence of institutes and facilities for child care,

Benchmarking
This indicator also highlights the possibility for equal opportunities in the labour
force for working women with children as they would not be limited by the lack of
childcare facilities.
Methodology Calculate as:
Numerator: Number of day-care spots available for pre-school children.
Denominator: Total number of pre-school-age children.
Multiply by 100.
