About ITU
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United
Nations specialized agency for information and communication
technologies (ICTs).
A vital part of its work is to develop technical standards that ensure
networks and technologies seamlessly interconnect, and strive to
improve access to digital technologies and ICTs to underserved How ITU-T works
cities and communities worldwide.
From its inception in 1865,
