Suggestions to SG13

The following issues should be studied further, but not limited to:
1. The scope of FMC architecture
a) Clarification is needed on whether the FMC architecture is a part of IMT-2020 network
architecture or an interworking architecture between fixed networks and IMT-2020 mobile
networks?
b) Clarification is needed on whether the interfaces or protocols between different types of UP
and CP can be unified for wireless and fixed networks?

2. The application of network slicing on FMC should be addressed.
3. How to balance between the flexibility and latency in service chaining scenario to introduce new
services?

4. Detailed functional components should be further studied including common functions.
5. Which option is more appropriate to realize unified control between the introduction of new
functions and the enhancement of existing functions?
