1 Scope

This Technical Report provides the SSC‐related activities currently undertaken by the various
standards developing organizations (SDOs), consortium and forums. It also provides lists of rele‐
vant standards published in the past.
The main objective is to provide suggestions for potential standardization activities to ITU‐T Study
Group 5 (SG5). It is hoped that it could also provide the basis for a wider standardization roadmap
involving other ITU groups and other SDOs.
